SkyWi generally provides its hosted PBX and business telephone services using Cisco 79xx style digital telephones. These digital phones connect to a remote communications switch which provides the logic and controls' how the phones operate. The phones communicate with this remote switch via a private broadband or high-speed Internet connection. If the remote switch is down; the broadband connection is down, or the Internet connection is down, the phones will not operate. This results in a loss of communications and negatively impacts you the customer.
CityLink has two different ways of providing telephone service via a broadband connection.
CityLink provides a hosted virtual PBX platform. Our vPBX system is hosted at our secure data center in Albuquerque. The system provides telephone services via a broadband or Internet connection between the customer and our vPBX servers. Each vPBX configuration operates on its own dedicated virtual processor, much like a main frame computer can host different companies. The virtual partioning protects customer information and prevents one customer from impacting another customer. The vPBX architecture also allows for quick migration should the underlying physical hardware experience a failure.
CityLink can also deploy digital telephone services is by placing a dedicated vPBX server at your site. With an on-site vPBX server you are assured that your vital office communications abilities remain intact. All of the same great features of our hosted platform are available on our On-Site vPBX system.

CityLink can reprogram your existing Cisco phones so that they will properly function with our system. If we are unable to reprogram the phones we can replace them with similar Cisco phones. In some cases this can be done at no cost to you.
CityLink can migrate your telephone numbers away from SkyWi's underlying carriers and put them on our system. This is at NO COST to you.
CityLink can migrate your 800 numbers away from SkyWi's underlying carriers and put them on our system. This is at NO COST to you.
CityLink can make sure your simple and complex telephone directory listings are propertly handled and migrated.
CityLink provides E911 services as required by the FCC.
CityLink provides up to 1,500 minutes of Business Long Distance per telephone line per month, Domestic US only.
CityLink long distance rates range between $0.022 to $0.015 per minute for domestic US calls.
CityLink can connect any international call you need to make. Most international calls cost approximately $0.03 / minute or more.
